AIM Movement Therapy

Anatomy in Motion (AiM) Gait Therapy founded by Gary Ward is an innovative method where the practitioner and patient work collaboratively to address root causes rather than the symptoms.
It is designed for pain relief,  injury-repair/rehab, reducing the likelihood of future injury and improving physical performance,  by addressing postural issues and efficiency of movement It is based on very different principles to most exercise therapies and can be practised, anywhere without expensive equipment. When you walk every part of your body is set in motion.
Waking inefficiently creates structural changes and postural imbalance. By addressing these issue holistically seemingly incredible results can be achieved amazingly quickly.
Other influences such as pain, historic injuries, and every day activities can further exacerbate these issues creating a vicious circle of pain.
Aim therapy techniques re-educate the body to utilise all available muscles, many of which will have all but ceased to function and restore natural balance and posture. As with all bad habits the longer they persist the greater the impact.
Many conditions normally associated with old age such as Osteoarthritis, loss of balance and coordination can be better attributed to these habits rather than a simple age calculation.
As such more sustainable relief can be achieved through a sub 5 min targeted none strenuous exercise plan.
